I understand what you are saying. But, there are kids throughout America, and the world, who believe that what they see on TV or hear on the radio is real. This makes them think that reading a book is for fools, and selling drugs and gang-banging is fashionable. I grew up in Brooklyn and all the "killer stick-up kids" are doing long bids or doing life in jail.
