God, i love how he changes the tempo of this to create another "Elvis" moment. The lyrics are are pure poetry and his vibrato dazzles.

Every Costello video i see there are always comments like yours from people who, i suppose, are thrust into euphuism by his music, and they always make me feel like i needed to pay more attention in english class

he plays with gravity, and time, both specific and otherwize, and is thus, still a heavy hitter, and will never retire from being an inveterate crooner, par excellence. especially now that the kings tongue is cleaving to the roof, and radio mostly dead. youtube the sole survivor?

Not that I dont love him with a full band, but having Elvis alone with his guitar just seems to bring out the beauty of his lyrics even more.
