you should get a bee hive

Interesting to see how much effort is needed for water conservation down under - here in Europe, well Wales anyway, it's not a problem but it does get too cold/wet sometimes. Keep it up, love the vids.

I don't know whether it would be viable but have you thought about getting 1 or 2 bee hives happening-pollinators a swell as honey producers...maybe when the rains come you can start a little farm shop with online exports of honey??

Show us how to prune fruit trees. I know I have no idea where to cut or how much to cut or what time of the year to do it. Thanks!

How are the chickens doing. If you have enough apples next year you could make cider . You could sell surplus to friends . I know if I had apples which I will have one of these days that is what I'll be doing.

How much land do you have?

you betcha, they will eat that grass down to the nubs, the acid from their poo will kill any grass. If you can build a "chicken tractor" it's a fantastic way of clearing spots for future garden areas. Pigs also work great for uprooting stumps!

If you can find a big enough container for it, try unhooking your shower, your kitchen sink, and your washing machine from your waste line, have that all drain into a big container. Have the container elevated and a spigot at the bottom, and hook a hose to it, it's a great way to gravity feed water to plants.

Cardboard, cardboard..I'm telling you that stuff is awesome for holding in moisture. I use several thicknesses(they have to be well watered initially. Then just put a thick layer of mulch over the top. I live in the desert, and during the hottest part of the summer, I usually only have to water every 2 weeks.
Do you save your gray water?
Another great project there..
That runner grass is terrible stuff hey, I put some in a dark sealed container full of water to try and make a fertiliser out of it, opened it up 6 months later and the bloody stuff was thriving in there, argghh! Any advice on ways to get rid of it, and then kill it / recycle it?
