  • Mr. Reeves, I had my hearing on 2/9/12. During the hearing the vocational expert told the judge that there is absolutely no job I can hold down, Is that good in my favor ??

How does disability figure an amount for your monthly payment's.? They went back 27 years on my employment. history. I have been a professional truck driver.since I was 18, I started in 1979.

  • SOUNDS LIKE A , SCAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!

  • What does it mean when the claim is grated??

  • im currently in the hearing stage. and awaiting a scheduled date for my hearing. im hoping the judge doesnt deny me either.

  • @ILuv2bUmmi "i'm currently waiting on an answer for SSI right now. I was told by my caseworker that they are TRAINED to deny you the first go round ..........."

I think this may be true because a former employer of mine was HIV and had stomach cancer and his claim was also denied (I'm not sure how many times) and he eventually died. He never got it.

  • Thank you for the video. I wish this was around when i applied b/c i was so scared.. sick, nervous, unsure of future and BROKE. During the "wait"-lost my car, no phone, walked to food bank, and credit went to bad.only 1yr after getng, had serious auto accid(not@fault),5days wk @drs.,16y.o son(then)went on long road of hard, bad drugs to incarc. It's been a nightmare yet ppl "hate'u for not hvng 2work!YES family turned on me ovr it as if they ddn't believe was not well/am not hence--no support...

  • i am divorced and i have 2 kids under 18 that live with there dad we have joint custody. they live with him because i am unable to support them do to disability. if i get approved would he or the kids get a check from my disablitiy. i know he help raising them. i hate i can't even afford to have my children with me.

  • @ILuv2bUmmi Keep appealing, show you still have limitations/little to no improvement despite compliance. keep going through, keep journals of following treatment. Be specific in limitations. Keep appealing and ask to keep benefits while appealing. Keep visiting professionals while appealing and follow advice/follow-through.

  • @starwarsnaomi Do what you can, safely, to go to your hearing. Be honest. Describe how condition(s) effects you over the course of the long term, all measures you do to control your pain, be honest (DESCRIBE your pain, other conditions, other symptoms). Read Nolo's Guide. Be credible!. Don't say your pain is a 10 or 11. Be honest. Bring med bottles, along w/ list of dosages, if any that put your condition (s) in remission but cause side effects, detail limitations.

  • I worked till I was unable to work. My doctor told me to stop working but I went ahead and kept on working for a year then was unable to I take oxycottin due to my pain but now I am addicated to it. If I go a few days without it I get really sick and end up bed ridden. I have a hearing on the 15th what should I do.
