@FlyingPiper13 Yes, binary fission is the most common term for this type of reproduction. Some people restrict the phrase "binary fission" to prokaryotes (bacteria), but it is widely, and quite correctly, used for cell division in protists like Paramecium.

@mulatualumban The song "I'm Schizophrenic (No I'm Not)" is by a small Chicago-based band called the New Duncan Imperials. I don't know much about them, but they seem to have been a fun group with a taste for the absurd. The song is one of YouTube's free Audioswap selections.
