Earthbound's new easy-open package

Have you noticed that there's a new package for Earthbound Farm's original salads? We ditched the PVC shrinkband and went with a much-easier-to-open new zip closure. The top snaps back on just like our previous container. Here's how it works.

I really like this new package and it is easy to open, a 10+ feature.

However, it does not have a quick visual indication if someone already tampered with my salad package after it opened and reclosed ... unlike the obvious shrinkband when it is missing from the salad package. There must be a compostable shrinkband material out there in the market? A second time opened it; I got a minor cut with the jizsaw edges from the lid. Does anyone feel the same way or complaining about these problems?
