This looks soooooooo inviting but Id really like to know how it runs on an Ipad 2? Ive heard a LOT of complaints on how cpu intensive on an Ipad 4. Id get it right this second. Also heard of it being crashy? Is anyone running this on an Ipad 2 that can give me some feedback? Do you constantly have to freeze tracks???

Auria runs great on an iPad 2. It's important to keep in mind that Auria is a real DAW, and it can bring any iPad model to it's knees if you load it with too many effects ;) Just like other DAWs (Pro Tools, Logic , etc), you have to be careful not to overload the CPU. Auria is the only mobile DAW that has pro-level plug-ins made by well known developers, so it's just a matter of being careful with how many plugin you use at once in a given project.

Audio files needed to be imported via iTunes File Sharing (on a computer) or through DropBox, which can connect directly into Auria.

If it works with an Audiobox 1818VSL is assumed that works also with 44VSL and 22VSL?

Yes, it works with the entire Audiobox series. You'll need a powered USB hub for all these interfaces, but Presonus has updated firmware which fixes this issue, which they'll be releasing soon.

Im running auria on an ipad 2 but i have yet to realy push it to the max mainly becuse im awaiting the arrival of an apogee duet 2 for ios...At the moment i just have the little apogee mic wich is great by the way....i only bought it for doing location overdubs where silence is the main concern and there is no fan in the ipad....my macbook wouldnt cut it in that respect but make no mistake it is a serious app....

One more, in case anyone is monitoring. Is there a consolidate function? By that: Can you take, say, three segments together and join them to create a new, continuous region/soundfile that can then be exported? The process is called "heal" in Cubasis, if that helps. Thanks for any help on all these questions.

This looks magnificent. I have to questions re: my voice over workflow.

1) Can you do both slip (which I can see) and shuffle editing? In the letter, select an area, delete, and everything to the right snaps back to the edit point. And is that edit point adjustable?

2) (very important) Is there a way to export separate regions on a track as mp3 files? My client needs many separate mp3s rather than a continuous edited track, and the files must be named to their specifications. Thanks.

Excellent app! Can I save my final mix into the camera roll so I can add video edits in IMovie? Also, how much is the app?
