@lcr1234 Yes indeed. Very condescending eh. I hate it when people try to guess the word I'm trying to say simply by the first letter. But then again, most people are just ignorant.

Another person I look to is Anderson Cooper .

One stutter I have always looked up to is Mel Tellis .

Rather sad that these actors (whether they have a genuine stutter/stammer or are purely acting as though they do), are representing characters that always get a hard time about there stammer!!!!......

@lcr1234 Coz, it never works for us, Sometimes we may take da all da time of the world but still we couldn`t say that word. Its really a bad felling

It does get annoying, but the point is that they're making an effort to be understanding. I'd rather hear someone tell me to take my time rather than someone tell me to hurry it up. We've all heard both and we have to remember that no one's perfect--we certianly aren't.

Thomas Jefferson? Interesting.
These clips are very cool. I saw the little house on the prairie episode on you tube. It was a really touching episode. Bujt when laura said at the end we practice everyday and get u not to stutter, isn't that false hope:)

You bring up a good point and one we agree with. We put together these clips merely as a way of documenting ways that stuttering has been portrayed on television.
