A wild shootout at a Toledo bar was caught on tape and police are hoping someone recognizes the gunmen. (Oct. 10)

if that different lifestyle causes suffering to others and especially if that lifestyle involves violence, yes they should be rounded up and imprisoned.

england's crime may or may not be higher than americas, but the point is the number of people shot in england every year is an infentisimal fraction of the number of people shot in america every year. how old are you? how can you not know this?

How old are you ? You know what happened in England when they banned guns? Did crime go down? NO it went up, and instead of shooting they were stabbing. In New York you get 3 years behind bars for having a hand gun. The only people that have them are cops and bad guys. You can't even own a stun gun to protect yourself. People still murder people, steal cars, rape women, children ,and kidnap people. LONG jail sentence for that. Never has banning guns lowered crime NEVER.

the crime rate may or may not go down, but the number of people being shot by criminals will go down significantly if the criminals are terrified to carry guns or risk going to jail for 20 years for gun possession.

yes criminals will turn in their guns if they get cash for them. and they certainly wont be likely to carry them if there are serious prison sentences for possession.

criminals would not love a ban on guns because it would be harder to get them. just as they wouldnt like really serious prison sentences for gun possession.

have you looked at the stats of how many people are killed by guns every year in the united states?

@signboyy Oh really now? You think CRIMINALS will just tun in guns if they fear to get in trouble by them. Prison does not keep them from murdering, selling drug, pimping prostitutes, stealing cars etc etc. Criminals would love a ban on guns. That way they would be the only ones to have them. Have you ever looked at the stats, where guns have been banned? The crime rate does NOT go down, it goes up. That' is a FACT. In NYC only the bad guys have guns. Citizens are left helpless.
