@GenocideGod No, where were they taken from?
Moreover, explain why _this_ isn't totally wrong "Verflucht das Blenden der Erscheinung"
or "Dämmert, gelähmt und mit scheinbar erloschenem Geist"
If you are German, I don't need to tell you "dämmert" sounds a little bit awkward in this context, doesn't it
"Der Halbtoten Dichters Schein Existenz" - wrong, even in old language

@deLord1337 So in the year that you left this comment did you realize where their track titles were taken from, and that they weren't 'mistakes'? I sure hope so.
-
i know it always reminds me of a drinking song from ireland :D
-
@deHelveticGrimWinter So you should listen to Drudenfuß,it's a totally folk metal song, with Burzum-like barks at the end,one of their best song. ;)
-
yeah, this would fit, sometimes i can even hear a bit of folkish guitar styles.
-
@deHelveticGrimWinter yes,i use the term "black metal" to describe them because it's faster, but in my sense it's a kind of music made of depressive/suicidal black metal, atmospheric black metal, but their style is very unique.
-
ah now i understand,... i think they are way more then just simply black metal :)
i mean i can not name any other band like urfaust!
cheers
-
@deHelveticGrimWinter I found it strange, because you do not often see black metal musicians dressed like this.
-
why "strange" ?

Would be greater if all the idiots didnt try to sing along.

I asked the band about the lyrics once, and I got a "we'd tell you, but then we'd have to kill you" response. They're secret, and they're going to stay that way, apparently. It's a shame, because I'd really like to know as well. I can't even tell whether they're singing in Dutch or German.
