this song has helped me get through tough times in my life. Iam a recovered heroin addict and the lord is worth it all. Hes given me a life to live and ansawers i seeked in using needles. god will get you through anything even the death of your family, hes not that far away in fact deep down inside every man, woman, and child is a comception of god. may the lord bless you all!

@28vince1 I am also a recovered drug addict, drinker, and this one is hard to admit but I used to have homosexual tendencies that i hated, but could do nothing about. Today I am free of all these burdens thanks to my Lord Jesus who pulled me from the depths of my sins. Father you are worth it all.

Amen, God has given me a second chance at something I almost missed, happened wednesday, and Ive been so thankful, everywhere I go, one song comes to mind all the time. Amazing Grace. @cmdesign01 Lay down your life to him. Every single aspect of it needs to be offered to him. Do everything you do as if serving Jesus in his own house. No good deed goes unseen. Read your Bible daily and just talk to God like hes your best friend because he is. He will listen to anything you have to say and give you peace. He will never forsake you for the rest of your life no matter how much you hurt hes always gonna be there to pull you back to your feet. Just give God everything and watch :)

KoolCG. thank you for sharing your story here on youtube. I've met another recovering addict but he is not saved..not yet. but I speak to him and pray for him when I can. I struggle with depression and physical dissabilities every day. I haven't had a bout of serious depression in a few weeks and that's good for me. I've not thought about suicide at all either ...not since you first wrote to me. Thank you so much.
