Hulk the baby ball python eating a large hopper. She was very hungry and got somewhat of a bad strike, biting the ass end. I was for sure she was going to squeeze the hoppers eyes out of his head. But in the end she got it down, after figuring out she needed to move around to the front of the hopper

  • my pastel female, hates me watching her eat , let alone looking in her tank, howd you get around that?

  • @Trainmasterryan , I feed all my snakes outside their own cage in a feeding bucket. This bucket is never washed so its got a nice thick layer of mouse scent. If you dont already try your feeding in a small box or bucket, something to can make for feeding the snake but it can only be used for that purpose. After a couple feedings you might see a change in your snakes feeding habit. But for the most part i feed outside the cage so the snake doesnt mistake my hand when reaching in as a prey item.

  • reptiles are awsome, espicially snakes and lizards.it was kinda sad how the mouse was still alive while getting eaten alive...but not everyone wasnts to feed frozen rodents.its like living in jail!!

  • @RTSstation When i had my snakes i feed a mix of frozen and live. Frozen is so easy to order bulk online for a low cost, but i like to feed my reptiles something live every so often so they get to feel the thrill of the hunt, instead of a limp prey item they doesnt fight back.

  • i hate watching mice die thats why i feed my ball python frozen.

  • @deerslayer5611 its great to feed them frozen, when feeding live you always have a chance of the prey item to fight back and injure your reptile. If seen snakes that have lost eyes due to a rat attacking them during the feeding. I mainly feed frozen due to being able to order online at a cheap cost, but every so often i feed live to give my reptiles a bit of excitement.

  • @soldierwillis she did better today, she ate and shes getting used to being looked at and handled and yeah i have a seperate feed box

  • @RTSstation yeah, but that just isnt what I prefer i dont have anything against or anything i understand how it is.

  • @deerslayer5611 we all understand..but i think its better if its fed live though, why?dont you want the snakes to feel like hes in the wild?(other than the fact hes put in a nice forest like cage)well the best way is to let him learn how to kill and eat a ive animal

  • The mouse was calling his mom
