Do some research before you make ignorant-negative comments. Microsoft is a partner/client of theirs... go to the website and click on "Partner" on the main menu.
Sounds like it's simply a camera and beamer method that MSoft uses. The camera detects, and the beamer shows accordingly.
You can put your iPhone or iTouch on the iTable (how many i's do I have to type like this...) and it will show you a menu. You can brows through it and add or recover any data from your added device. How it works ... don't ask me.
Also Surface is a vision system, technically. It's not actually a "touch" system. In another video, someone puts a book on the table and it pulls up the book from the database by recognizing the cover.
Microsoft Surface is a surface computer. That's different. It detects physical objects you place on the table (including your fingers / hand / feet maybe if you program it). And you can "bar-code" the objects so it knows what it is and it will display product info or charge your account, etc.
whats the title of the background music its nice :))
