@Talongirl333 I totally agree with you. In fact, I didn't know that she was adopted when I first started watching the show as a kid because I missed the pilot. I didn't find out until years later. They have a beautiful father and daughter relationship.

there was no incedent like "what do you care your not my real dad" or anything, they truely felt like family
