According to the Super Luchas Magazine Mil Mascaras will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year during Wrestlemania XXVIII weekend in Miami, Florida.

Mascaras in the real-life uncle of WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio and is scheduled to be at tonight's Smackdown taping currently underway in Mexico.

Although Mascaras deserves the HOF honor I think it is a slap in the face to every wrestling fan that The Poffo Family were not announced as the first inductees for this year. It is offensive enough that Macho Man wasn't inducted while he was alive. Angelo and Lanny are both worthy of the HOF in their own rights as well. DIsgraceful!

why disrespect mil mascaras by using this to vent frustrations about the poffo's as i agree with you, i think this is not when you should comment on this, you should pay respect to mil mascaras one of the greatest wrestlers of all time

@raiffmeister Macho Man made it crystal clear that he didn't want to be inducted unless he went in with his family. Same goes for the other Poffos. Macho Man is worth a ton of money when it comes to merchandise deals so if the WWE is concerned at all with making money, which of course has always been their top priority, then they will do the smart thing and induct them.

@papillonaquatique While I do agree that the Poffo family should be inducted, especially Macho Man, the public relations between WWE and Savage were very strained up until a few years ago. Hopefully, though, he gets inducted into the Hall this year (chances are he will) and if luck holds out, Angelo and Lanny will follow soon.
