Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort was the 1st Ski Resort to open for the 2011-2012 Season in the USA. It always amazes me when people have NO CLUE that we have snow in Vegas. LVSSR (aka Lee Canyon to us locals) is a truly killer little ski mountain that's less than an hour from the bright neon of Las Vegas, but feels like it's a WORLD away. If you haven't been there yet, get up there because the snow only gets BETTER until about March here in Nevada's Spring Mountains!

Just watched video again & realize it's from the "opening Day" when they only had the bunnyhill open in October. Not much snow then. Mountain looks alot different now.

I mostly ski the trees...crossing the groomers & hitting them sometimes, but I like the backwoods stuff. This is ALL non-hiking ski-able terrain @ LVSSR. Always surprises me when people don't explore the mtn more to see what it has to offer. Also, I go alot. I've been 21 times this season so far. The groomers would get BORING in a hurry as much as I'm up there. I can ski all day & never take same run/line twice. :-)
