Play with fire and you get burned!
A lesson better learned sooner than later.
The weak go quickly to their graves.
Most-badass-line-ever.

Do they have any added dialog when you take Magus into Guardia Castle (the one in the past, that is) in this version? I always thought it was strange you could just have him march right in there, their greatest enemy, and no comment is made by the King or anyone else about it.

For me, chrono, ayla, and robo have been a kick ass team. Theyre physical and magical abilities combine well. especially with bronze fist and apocalypse arm.

Ugh. Much prefer SNES dialogue to DS.....

Great video of a great CT moment!
The dialogue in this version seems quite a bit different from what I remember.
Are there a lot of differences between the SNES translation and the DS translation? Which translation is better, in your opinion?

I chose to fight Magus because I just wanted to get any rewards the fight would offer (exp gold), I didn't know he'd die. :[

The first time I fought him I slaughtered him the second time I sparred him

If you choose no, Magus will join the team.

All the way, dude.
its better to have magus, cause of his multi element spells when u battle lavos's magus battle form. my best team is crono in front, magus behind crono, and frog behind magus. to me thats my ultimate team for multi reasons.

There's a reason to defeat Magus in this version, as he's a separate Bestiary entry (#195), and I plan on using Magus for the rest of the game, for learning his techs, and for Lost Sanctum, which I'll try to tackle without use of a guide.
I'm using Magus in the later videos, and I'll keep him in lead if I can (except for Geno Dome).
