I would actually prefer that there be a GOD rather than not. Faith may be enough for some but for me it isn't practical. Sure it makes you have a good feeling inside your tummy but the love of family, friends, and people seem more real then any GOD I've been introduced to.
If GOD exists, he knows that I have hope for his existence. It isn't faith, but it's better than nothing.

@johnbgroovy that's not how it works.... i guess you have heard that faith alone is enough to meet GOD and guess what.. that's the only way.... if we all can see GOD then everything would be so easy and faith wouldn't be needed... jesus wouldn't have to die for us because everyone would seen him... if you want to see GOD with your own eyes... it will never happens... you have no idea how beautiful is to know GOD... then your eyes will be open. i hope someday you will understand this

I don't fully understand abiogenesis therefore I can't agree nor disagree.
But I do CARE about whether my beliefs reflect reality don't you?
Have you ever been threatened by people of Islamic faith ? Non believers of Allah ( that means you) will be punished and tortured after death.
If punishments from other religions are on the line you'd better have some facts or evidence to back up your claims.
That's why Atheists like me phrase this question.

I know you said this a month ago, but I just had to point something out.
Atheists always say this asif it means something, but a theist could easily just reply: "Well OK, which version of abiogenesis do YOU choose? And why do you choose that one overt he others?" asif it somehow disproves atheism.
Difference being, there is strong scientific evidence against abiogenesis being possible, and none of its theories can explain this evidence.

I've had many episodes of insomnia at night trying to decipher the sheer confusion, diving into to the deep rabbit hole that would ultimately give no answer. I've risked my mental health for your God and many others
The only cure to this affliction, assume no Gods until they choose to reveal themselves,
I've had much better sleep since that decision was made.

Obama getting the Nobel peace prize was a sham! On that we both agree. The Nobel prize of scientific discovery is different, one of the beautiful things about science is that it can directly benefit everyone ! No need for any religion or belief It works without it. Ive never seen creationism generate any direct scientific benefits to society have you?

And Obummer was awarded the Nobel peace prize. I think it was thoroughly scrutinized and reviewed by professionals as well ;).
A quote from C.S. Lewis (could be wrong) said: "Most people aren't interested in the truth, but what rather confirms their prejudice". In other words most people follow their desires for "truth", which results in obscure religions where real truth is hidden, hidden from the light lest it be exposed.

I am in no position to publish anything since I am not the one making the claim. I lack the knowledge and intellect in such matters therefore it is the responsibility of the person making the claim. When creationists are given the chance to prove their claims they instead try to disprove evolution. I'm not asking creationists to disprove evolution I'm asking them for direct evidence of their God.

@johnbgroovy I make several claims and have given you this opportunity to investigate those claims for yourself. I can't make you look at the evidence, you will have to do that for yourself. You say you lack the intellect and knowledge to investigate this for yourself so that means you trust and believe that evolution is true without understanding it. Either life evolved or it didn't. Is there another option? If life did not evolve then what?Evidence for creation is evidence against evolution?

Look, just send me your best evidence that supports the existence of your God.
If the evidence of a God is so obvious nobody would or could argue against it and yet here we are divided, amongst Muslims, Catholics, Christians, atheists and more. You've got evidence for your god? Point me to facts, point me to your irrefutable evidence, I'm not interested in faith, assumptions nor any book that claims their god is the true one. Point me to factual evidence..thankyou!

@johnbgroovy What do you count as evidence? That which has been created, such as living organisms, is evidence for a Creator. That living organisms do not arise from inorganic matter by any natural means is evidence that the Creator is beyond the natural world. This evidence is profoundly obvious but you seem to think that no one can argue against the obvious which is not true. People argue against obvious truth and believe things which are not true all the time, every day, every second.

Nobel prizes are Nobel prizes because of their very nature. Theories are thoroughly tested, scrutinized, and reviewed by professionals. If many professionals follow the strict guidelines of scrutiny testing repeating and observing and come to the same conclusion the theory would then be accepted into the science community.
Are you saying that the other +90% of the scientific community got it wrong ?
I still patiently await the evidence your God! links would great..

@johnbgroovy Yes, they got it wrong. Tests have been proposed to test Evolution which evolutionists simply refuse to run and every attempt to scrutinize it is met with excuses. This is because Evolution is not a theory in any scientific sense of the word "theory". There is absolutely no evidence at all of an ancestor common to all living organisms. There is an emerging body of contradictory evidence but you don't seem to care about that. In the video Dawkins lied to the public plain and simple.
