I was standing around middle, i'm ahuge fan & wanted to take in the music because it was the first time iv'e seen them & had been waiting for about 3 years.
Not everyone feels the need to get all sweaty and dirty on the first day of a festival, If i see them at thier own gig, it may be a different story

While showing giving the band back the energy they might be giving is nice, sometimes just soaking in the music is nice too. I can't imagine "Jumping around" during Dozing Green, either.
And if I don't know a band, I personally don't give that much praise, outside of a hand clap. Takes awhile to get used to another musicians' presence.

If I was enjoying a band, I'd be showing them I were, regardless of whether or not I previously knew about them.

People stand back because they want to appreciate it. All the more hyped up people were up the front and you can't really see them.

I've seen Dir en Grey many times and usually people don't know them. What my say is to that... f**k em, they are the ones missing out on it!
Shame nobody got "Vinushka" on video, cause I emailed them so many times to please play "Vinushka" live but I never thought they actually would do it! I cried the whole song long cause even though I love all of their songs, "Vinushka" is my favourite of all of them.

this is the second time i've seen diru, and i swear i couldnt feel my legs, due to the awesome. but yeah, alot of the people didnt know of them, and i for one do not like being in the centre of the crowd, and stand at the sounddesk, where it sounds better.
