iMac 27in. quad core i7 upgrade to 12 gigs

it will have been running slower with screenflow running too.

must be crazy fast without screenflow

@JiguanaDJ thats true. the main reason i got the ram was because i'm starting to do a lot of work with after effects (a.k.a "photoshop on wheels"). if your running all the final cut programs as well as adobe cs5 a lot of speed is a must

dude put an extra ssd for applications and your second internal as scratch for rendering to see the real speed in video editing

Awesome! I totally need this set up. If you don't mind me asking, what are the exact specs of your imac? Like do you have the iMac 27-inch 2.8GHz Intel Core i7

or the iMac 27-inch 2.93GHz Quad Core Intel i7? Thanks!
