This robot was purchased to pick extremely hot steel parts coming off of a conveyor, from a furnace, which would then be placed into tooling of a 250 ton hydraulic press, an formed. These parts are then removed from the pressed and palletized onto the customers parts racks, which will be removed by a forklift when the complete number of parts have been run. At this moment in time this particular robot is running 3 shifts 7 days a week. This robot took their cycle time on a particular part of almost 300 parts per hour to 355 parts per hour; and even further on a separate part from 90 parts per hour to 160 parts per hour.
