OK im just going to put out the truth for the whole big picture, jerry and the band loved what they where doing, and when Layne died they could still hang out n stuff,but they couldn't really play together like the old days, for obvious reasons, (no singer) dont get me wrong layne is my absolut idol, his voice shines stronger than any star, he was just amazing all around, but the new alice in chains is just as kick ass as the old and will fits the void well, would you rather have no alice??????

As a long time AIC fan, I cannot find a single thing wrong with this album. This song especially chilled my spine and gave me goosebumps the first time I heard it. Welcome back!

Layne's voice was unique, but I'm glad Will's voice's great too. I think it shows great respect to what the band was and to what it is now. It's a nice way to move on and honour Layne without being lame

I agree. Layne can never be replaced, but William is FAR from a bad vocalist, and to his credit, he's not trying to just copy Layne with no feeling. He brings his own "voice" to the part, and the funny thing is, I can still hear a fair amount of Layne in his vocals. It's almost like he is honoring Layne's memory by channeling him subconciously. And based on the 2 singles, I'd say the new album is gonna kick some serious ass!
