'Medal of Honor' game sparks anger- Al Jazeera English.flv

A new US video game in which the player can take on the role of a Taliban fighter and kill American and British soldiers has caused outrage in the UK.

The country's defence minister says it is "tasteless" and "shocking" and has called for the product to be banned.

But the makers of "Medal of Honor" have defended it, saying it reflects the fact that every conflict has two sides.

You know, this game is just another Call Of Duty. There are more realistic games, and even more realistic than BC2. Real military simulations that are able to train civilians more than just weapons but vehicles, equipments, different names of grenades, different kinds of bullets and rockets, and basically a realistic battle field. If people realized this is just a game, it would be much better off being played. But too many people think war is really like this, and it isn't.
