  • Well, considering that Sifu Lam is/was a disciple of Sun Jian Yu (Suns' daughter) and he got his information from her directly. I don't think Sun LuTang would be "Rolling on the floor laughing...""" Dumb arse

  • It's probably the stiffest xing-yi out there!

  • Wing Lam is good for Hung Gar,he has nothing to do with Xing yi!Sun Lu Tang would be Rrolling On the Floor Laughing(i couldnt resist!)

  • Perhaps, but I'm not into that sort of thing. ;)

  • @Juan0003

but it looks very "cute", wrong? :)

  • Good shaolin. ;)

  • wtf is this?!

  • Regarding the backward steps (abraxas2727),

We too practice them in our linking form Which is longer than this one.

The first half of the drill is done forward While the same movements are then repeated Backwards.

The practice is for releasing the same basic Powers of the fists while retreating. Aalthough Xing Yi philosophy is to attack and keep contact with the oponnet, sometimes a punch as such is required.

  • Wing Lam is a highly skilled martial artist. He is taught xingyiquan by a highly skilled xingyiquan master. He is not regimented by that master. He is taught according to his already existing skills and his body type, etc. Real teachers have always taught internal martial arts that way, and real students always eventually learn that way.

  • Traditional Hsing-i does not take so many steps backward. This is ridiculous, perhaps it was shot in reverse. Sun LuTang would be ROFLHAO
