Halo 1 Easter Egg: Rex

At the final level, The Maw, after you watch as Foe Hammer goes down you continue forward as usual and soon approach that huge jump that takes you down a few stories. Well, when you're plummeting down towards the landing area, another big ramp, you'll notice there's a sort of bridge over it, with several containers and two open doors on either side.

It's a little tricky to get up the side, but once you've figured it out, it's not too bad. Once up, it's easy to drop down onto the bridge... and if you look in the left-hand room (with respect to the way you're walking), you'll see that the wall has been 'tagged' by Tyson Green (aka 'Ferrex', aka 'rex') , level designer extraordinaire.

@opain12 Tyson Green (Username Ferrex) is a senior designer at Bungie. He is believed to be the inspiration for the Mendoza/Kappus character model from Halo: CE and also has his own easter egg in the game. Green moved on from Campaign level design after Halo 2 to become the Multiplayer Design Lead for Halo 3.
