This DVR card has 8 heat sinks. Heat sinks are used to extract heat so that the DVR card will maintain a constant temperature. This will make it so the card processes more efficiently. The LE-8008A has the motion detection option so you will not have to waste space on your computer with empty footage. It has enhanced mpeg-4 compression technology and can support up to 2 stacked DVR cards per PC, which is equivalent to 16 channels at 30 fps or 32 channels at 15 fps. Using the software, you will be able to view this card and its cameras remotely over the internet and control the PTZ through an LAN connection. It also supports an IE remote monitor. DVR cards are perfect for anyone who wants to set up their own home, or even business, security system. When you receive the DVR card all you will have to do is follow the step by step instructions. Installation is a breeze. All you need to do is simply install the card in to your PC and run the CD software that is provided. In a few simple clicks you are done. utter crap capture card with Chinese software which is not 100%. Poor customer service. External monitor has a ton of interference in it. ETC. Buy the real deal.
