Malcolm Smith Protest Event

On March 19th, 2009 motorcycling icon and retail store owner Malcolm Smith, took on the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and their ban on the sales of youth motorcycles and ATV's per the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) that went into affect February 10th, 2009.

Malcolm sold three youth motorized vehicles in protest to the ban at his store Malcolm Smith Motorsports in Riverside, CA risking a $100,000 fine per unit. That's $300,000 if anyone's counting.

We sent a crew there to cover the event and have provided a pre-produced video for concerned web sites to imbed and/or link to. We have provided several versions for you to download and possibly can out put a special version upon request. All the footage and music has been cleared for this usage.

Man I love Malcolm Smith, he's such a legend! I remember watching On Any Sunday for the first when I was like 8 years old, and watching it so many times after that that I practically had it memorized word for word! Thanks for helping get the law turned around Malcolm, I have 9 Honda Z50's and not being able to buy parts was a pain! Kids need to be able to ride, I know when I have kids they're sure gonna have a Honda 50 waiting for them under the tree when they turn 5 or 6!
