Thank you for this posting. I can tell you that the massacre was executed by Tate Brady and former members of his Knights of Liberty (aka the unofficial Ku Klux Klan), which terrorized Oklahoma durring WWI. This group worked with the U.S. government in rounding up alleged draft dodgers. The crimes of the Knights include, kidnappings, torture and death squad assasinations throughout Oklahoma. Its sole purpose was to protect the Oklahoma oil belt, which fueled the U.S. war in Europe.

They appear to still be traumatized and in a state of shock even to this very day, and the saddest thing of all is that they will never know justice.

u need to come down to the city of Tulsa and see what it is today. a lots changed. btw its only known as either Tulsa race riot, the night tulsa died, the greenwood riot, and the tulsa race war. no one calls it the Tulsa Massacre even the people up in north Tulsa dont call it that. u need to come down here. btw i also dont think you should be flaunting ur father like that and showcasing him, its a lil degrading in my opinion. but thats just me

as long as whites and blacks and whatever other ones you got there start blaming each other your always going to have racism..
i mean look at what the blacks did to the jews that tried to help win them their freedom

whites/blacks...
differences are only skin deep.. i know tell that to the people that put african american's in bondage for 3 centuries.
where does it end
the Knights of Liberty had access to an estimated $20,000 worth of arms from the Tulsa Army National Guard, which had been provided by the Tulsa chamber of commerce. Both groups formed the backbone of the Knights of Liberty which would later fuse with the KKK in 1918. Other Knights that took part in the massacre included future Tulsa Police Cheif George Blaine (the mad bomber of Greenwood.) One could now say that the KKK was behind the Greenwood Massacre.
