  • Yeeeeeeeeesssss hahahahahahaha... finally someone who gets it exept for me, i have a dream, that some day people realize that positive predjuidices create and maintain negative predjuidices, and that our culture is the only obstacle we must overcome, in order to achieve any goal. today that dream came partially true.

  • Thanks BM

If you see any relevant occasions you might post this as a video reply :-D

  • My reply was to your statement "I don't see that much hate from theists actually. Most of the flack I've gotten has been from other atheists who profess to be free thinking."

And why would not free thinking atheist not hate the prejudice, indoctrintation, suffering and death that is caused directely and indirectly by the religions?

  • This video hit the nail on the head, kinda. Women are under men, they should do what they are told. There would be less abuse, if yall would only realize that we are the king of the castle. Give us what we want, cook our food, and shut the hell up, unless spoken to. I mean damn how hard is that people.

  • Au contraire, I have seen them. My favorites are by that asshole Fred Phelps! And that is right where I draw the line in the sand. That boy ever crosses it in front of me, he'll think Michael Moore went easy on him!!!!

  • You have obviously not seen some of the evangelical sites and the Jesus Camp videos.

Who do you think are feeling persecuted?

I respect people, but not the dangerous and distorted ideas, attitudes and teaching they peddle that have caused so much suffering and death throughout history and around the world today. Ignoring this is IMO a soft option.

  • I am a Humanist, there are theists among us who support rights based on humanity, not theology.

  • Beside the Phelps videos, I don't see that much hate from theists actually. Most of the flack I've gotten has been from other atheists who profess to be free thinking. I think they are fed up with persecution and are fighting back. Not my style. I promote mutual respect and fight the bastards in the courts. But my tolerance is pretty high, I draw my line at when theist beliefs lead to death.

  • Thanks- I will give it some thought.

On hate - do you think that these flailing demonstrations of hate from those who claim to be part of all loving, compassionate and forgiving religions - will teach outsiders who see them for what they are?

  • I'm actually considering giving up on You Tube. There's an incredible amount of hate here, but there are also some really fantastic people. I'm thinking maybe it would be best to form a group with them, and avoid drawing in the haters. Haven't decided yet. But already some have left, I don't want to be here alone with the hate. Good luck. You've got a great message.
