the reason for the thong is to show the muscles. You couldnt see a lot of them if the dude was wearing shorts. Its the whole point of bodybuilding, getting your muscles as big as you can. And what would be the point of going into a competition having built up those muscles if you we wearing shorts and nobody could see them? It sounds to me like you're just homophobic.
