New Law Protects NYC Traffic Cops

NY traffic cops are the worst ones. They break the same laws that they are paid to enforce. Traffic officers are the worst fucking dirtbags I ever seen. I laugh when one gets abused, hit, or killed. If I seen a traffic officer in an emergency I would ignore it.

@mathewjoseph07621 Again, if cops don't like the risk, don't do the job. Why are they not held to a higher standard in their off time if they are such amazing human beings? Why when they commit crimes are they not locked up for longer than normal? They are suppose to be setting an example for others right? I deal with the public everyday too, and me being alone is much less protection then wearing a badge. Even without the extra penalty, you think we will let cop killers escape? Lets get real.

@polevaultrockstr first off cops and traffic agents r dealing wit the public on a day to day basis there here to help us an securing our safety so they should def. get an upper hand being that no one likes there freedom taken away or recieving a ticket its dangerous and thats something u need to consider.

Don't like the risk, don't do the job. This is bullshit making humans in costumes better than the rest of us. Its funny how everyone thinks this new law makes it illegal to hit a cop, like before the passing of the law it was some how legal to go around assaulting people?

Thumbs up if you thought they were going to talk about JIMMY JUSTICE

One of these pricks the other day told me (a pedestrian waiting to cross the street) to "WAIT!" when we got the cross signal so she could "move more traffic through the intersection..." As I told her "Fuck you, I'm a pedestrian and have the right of way" (aka cross sign)" ... Fuck her, I'm a pedestrian and NOT dumb enough to drive in Manhattan, why should I have to wait for those who are and her attitude through two light cycles!?

:59 does he speak english?

Yeah, but if the same traffic agent (or Meter-Maid. I mean really, let's call these people what they really are), assaults you - like they routinely do to people like Jimmy Justice - then you have almost NOTHING that will protect you in terms of the law. And while I'm all for protecting people who are just doing their job, why offer better protection under the law than that of a private citizen?
Apparently our pain and suffering doesn't mean as much and it's okay to assault the "common" man :(
I can only see this law making the arrogant pricks even bigger arrogant pricks thinking people will not risk a felony.
