why does the GLBT community even have to say they're gay. I wouldn't care if my fellow soldier was gay as long as he has a good soldier orientation wouldn't be an issue to me.

And before this, it was WOMEN who weren't allowed to serve, because of the misconception that females are weak, and that the male soldiers would overpower them and rape them.

Great point! I agree that women have received an unfair rap. I believe the world is finally evolving from those darkest of years. Those being hateful are probably those who are unable to evolve. They are lashing out in desperation.
