  • Is it true that the MR1 can take M-16 magazines? And what is the price range for one of these? I am a huge Benelli fan, I have a Nova and love it, and I am thinking about getting rifle and this one looks really sweet...

  • @MexicanDoctorJ yes it does take regular ar mags..

  • How is the accuracy?

  • My best group was an inch at 100yds using 55gr factory ammo..

  • @705Ibanez yea so what i said, the casing is thicker internally, get some pliers and a bench vice and take a look the brass is thicker on a 5.56 nato, i promise you

  • @lilblitz

Actually the 5.56 NATO and the .223 rem have the exact same dimensions, the only difference is that the 5.56 NATO creates higher chamber pressure. So in a 5.56 NATO rifle you can shoot .223 but not vice versa.

  • @705Ibanez This gun comes in both I believe, the 5.56 although the same size has a thicker casing and is a higher pressure round, the difference is in the rifle it's self the way the round is chambered before firing the 5.56 I understand lines it a bit higher so the pressure is discharged completely down the barrel so putting that higher pressure round in a barrel that lines it up slightly lower ruins the gun but the other way round its fine, maybe some loss in velocity and accuracy

  • @lilblitz

Lol same thing man, .223 is the caliber and 5.56 is the metric caliber, if its 5.56 NATO thats a different story.

  • .223 or 5.56

  • Almost on fire lol! Not a good rifle if it smokes like that.

  • @sabungero22 try 62grn... :) handloaded

  • Look how fast the bolt cycles compared to an AR.

  • @314edwood that is where the gases are discharged from.

  • @MexicanDoctorJ I found one at my local store for $1100, and yes they accept M-16 mags, including hi-cap ones.
