Landing the sleek DA20 at Cuyahoga County, Ohio (CGF) on a nice, late summer's day. Video starts on downwind for RWY 6 just prior to descent.

If you like the video, please subscribe!

Turn from base to final is a bit short as a departing jet (you will see him taxiing to the hold short line) had to hurry up and leave following our arrival before his IFR clearance expired.

Other than that, a decent landing!

  • bit high for the stall warning to go off now wasnt it

  • I tried to post a video response but I don't see it anywhere... Well anyways it was a flight in N373AM that I recorded... You weren't kidding, that plane is so much fun! To bad its winter now and the weather sucks haha

  • @goingtobeapilot Nice. The DA20 is fun to fly! I have never flown the DA40, but there are some NICE ones at BKL. N343AM is insanely well-equipped. I flew a 172 from BKL and Lorain County, but the controls are heavier than the DA20. Have fun on Wed!

  • @sldauby No actually I'm suppose to fly it for the first time on wed. I've never flown one of the diamonds... I usually fly N4207P or N158RA from KCGF. Those two are the cessna 172r's. I'm really looking forward to flying the da20 though. Have you ever flown the da40?

  • @goingtobeapilot Yes it is! Such a nice aircraft! Have you gotten to fly it?

  • @sldauby Hey by the way is this N373AM?

  • @goingtobeapilot Indeed! I pretty much always used the other side, but this day yielded a different approach. At least you don't get the bumps and dips from the golf course on those hot days...!

  • It feels weird to see this approach lol I'm used to landing on the other side (runway 24) Great job though... Im hoping to fly the diamond da40 out of CGF eventually.
