The O-line was a lot worse than they were made out to be, last season. They simply could not run the ball when they needed to - even, at times, against opponents they should have been able to. A good running game will also protect a defense, that's another reason why I always like building the O-line right away when it shows signs of ineffectiveness. Pittsburgh definitely needs help at CB, let's see what happens in rounds 2-5. Also looking for 1 WR, 1 more OG, a DT and, yes, possibly an OLB.

BlizDK - you are right, I knew he couldn't be counted on for the Steelers' roster but I missed the transaction of Parker actually signing with the Redskins. I see that happened during the first couple of days of April - When I was busy finalizing/paying taxes - :D. My bad.

Here my thing i love Pouncey but why arent we address the secondary problem, i guess they are ok with joe burnett and keenan lewis and will"cant cover" gay, this will go great for Mendalhall and Moore, in the laters rounds i got them going for RB more OLine and Im thinkin OLB because farrior up to age im thinkin a Micah Johnson from Kentucky and the RB im thinkin a Pat Patschall from North Dakota State But GO STEELERS!!!!

I'm pretty sure the Washington Redskins disagree with your comment about Willie Parker being unsigned. Other than that, I pretty much agree with you. A low-risk, solid pick by the Steelers.
