Lillie Turner: Breaking the Barriers of Time and Distance - Biola Imagination Summit 2011

Lillie Turner is a pioneer member of the Emerging Technologies Group, Cisco's highly acclaimed internal ventures organization. As Director of Operations, she leads and designs the business operations infrastructure for early stage business units on their quest to become Cisco's next $1B business, while providing consultative services to shape strategy and institutionalize best practices appropriate for the business life cycle stage and market maturity. Lillie has been instrumental in driving strategy execution for Cisco's corporate video strategy and has led multiple engagements with high profile customers, government agencies and public service organizations.

Prior to her role at Cisco, Lillie led numerous teams at Pacific Bell and Synopsys, Inc. driving strategic business transformation initiatives in Marketing, Professional Services, HR and Customer Service. Her 10 year tenure in IT included establishing a Program Management Office and successfully managing the development and implementation of new technology applications. Lillie holds a bachelors degree in Economics from UC Berkeley and has held the coveted PMP designation from the Project Management Institute. She is active in her local public school district and youth co-curricular activities. Lillie is happily married and the mother of 4 children.
