I have this exact external hard drive. I owned it for a year then it just for some reason quit working. I reformatted it and erased everything off it and still nothing. When I add files they do not appear but take up memory. Do you know how to fix this problem? Nice camaro poster in the back btw =D

@ckeilah Haha, whatever works man, if you like the other one better then go with it. Whatever makes ya' happy, lol. But yeah, my MP seems to treat me right so I use it whenever I need a knife. But your Leatherman sounds epic because it opens beer! LOL.

@ChrisB2007 meh. The "safety lock" is a joke. It almost turns off with the force of gravity. The MP is a fun gimmick, but I think I'll stick with my old manual Leatherman c33Lx, which I can actually open 9x faster, is 1/5 the weight, 1/3 the size, and which doesn't usually come open except when I ask it to. Oh, and it opens beer! ;-)

@ckeilah Sure thing, Do you have the safety lock on?
I forgot my password and can't unlock my western digital portable hard drive

@101bethanyy Unfortunately there is no way that I'm aware of to unlock your drive without having your password, other than erasing all the data on the drive.
