A certified lunatic from down under, Das Butcher was staying with me in New York while I was facing a deadline for school. I forget how we came up with the idea for a cooking show, but we were equally inspired to make one. Produced to meet my scholastic deadline, the assignment was a 3-minute, 2-person TV studio skit in which the characters could not move. Das Butcher plays himself, and I discovered the other actor in a pile of discarded headshots.
