funny part is ican pick up a hx40 for 200-400$ used compared to a GT42 which is in the thousands lol

Holset are turbo's for diesels, Diesel burns cold compared to gasoline, therefore there is less exhaust energy to be harvested. So they've spent tons of money making the easiest spooling turbo's on the market.

@natedawg08313 It's when you're dragging the brakes to load the engine so your creating boost while at a constant speed. It decreases turbo lag because the turbo is already creating positive pressure.
