The prototype of a homemade water cooler, for the CPU of the PC.
Pentium D 3.0Ghz 925 Presler.
Running at 22° , everything is homemade, even the radiator.
The pump, is a bigle pump from a boat and the CPU lock also was made from scratch.

  • 22 DEGREES AT IDLE. wow.... Air cooling can achieve that. You're at room temp.

  • Ho the idle Temperature of a Presler procesor is really high, around 50º-60º.

  • You mean 3/4 ?

  • I want to know how to make the radiator..

  • @d0rkiishchris Watercooling is really just air cooling, too. Instead transferring heat from components to metal to air, you transfer from components to metal to water to metal to air. Watercooling cannot achieve lower than room temperature figures, unless you use a separate cooling unit.

  • watch how to make a waterblock out of an intel stock cooler

  • @plavins1 you realise copper is used so that it conducts enough heat right? if you dont you would experience higher temperatures which im sure is not what you are trying to achieve.

  • hey could i make a cpu waterblock out of metal instead of copper cuz i dont know where to buy copper in my country. thnx

  • @TheDarkDragoon that depends, older processors pumped out tons of heat

  • @atosvitara Dude, you're obviously talking without any CPU fan or heatsink at all. I have a Phenom Quad Core that runs at 36C degrees idle in windows with a normal fan/heatsink combo(at a room temp of around 26-27C), and there is NO way that processor pumps off more heat than a 9850 Phenom. The real reason you would go water cooling is not for an ambient temp decrease, but a longer, stressful overclocking temp maint. Learn more about Watercooling before correcting people.

  • what about it inside a case?
