@Jh5kRadio Actually, this was in the early sixties, before the hippies, at least on the east coast. I can still hear this song banging out of the jukebox from the Ocean Drive Pavillion somewhere around '62 or'63. Jeez I think that jukebox was loud enough to hear a block or two away, lol. It may have been played across the street at the Pad as well but I don't remember. The Pad still played lots of '50s songs back then, songs like Green Eyes and Sixty Minute Man.

One of the very first Stax artists hits. Magnificent. His daughter (Carla) was later to become a Stax artist in her own right.Thanks for posting !!
