The amount of chance in badminton hitting the netcord is about the same as in tennis lol. Yet I don't see them knock tennis for that. Of course netcords during netplay I think are very skill based. Any other shots other than netplay, yeah they're chance. That's it. Same as tennis

Yea, you're right it doesn't. But in cases of drop shots, he's partially right, depending on how the bird turns/flips, can determine how great of a drop shot it is. But overall, you're right, it makes no sense. This is why Americans shouldn't commentate Badminton.
