@DerKosmonaut77 It just goes to show how ignorant people can be musically, if I was he, I'd be glad they stopped listening, I wouldn't want that kind of person to enjoy my music. Great insight all the same :D And great music!!!

David Byrne put together a stellar compilation CD called O'Samba which came out
in the mid 90's or so. I believe that it was compiled from that of a fan's perspective, artists that he admires from South America. There's even an original song that he does with Bernie Worrell. Highly recommended.

I saw this tour around 1990 when Rei Momo was released..and more or less the same musicians a couple of years later, when Uh-Oh came out. I have had the privilege of meeting David twice..and received a signed set list from him which I still have. Thanks for posting this..it brings back wonderful memories.
