  • stop saying SIMUUUlarity! It's similairty. Like SIMILAR

  • @KenisaDisneyFreak I'll say it right if you learn to spell it right.

  • every good piece of art, song, book, movie, ect. that has been successful throughout history have all been "stolen" to create something new or modern. :) im sure the director did take that concept of the comic as well as all the movies that he'd done prior to this film and turned it into a very unique movie. whatever the case may be, Christopher Nolan made another kick ass movie. thanks 4 the comparison by the way. :)

  • @darksilver129 Thanks! You couldn't be more right.

  • copying =/= stealing

there's only so many ways to cook an egg

  • @THEGREATMAX That's an odd thing to think, this story was from 2002, but they're still printing new Scrooge McDuck stories now. They're big in Europe I believe.

  • @RajanMaker19 Uhhh. It's fucking Scrooge Mcduck. Pretty sure they were all printed back before 2000

  • @darksilver129 Actually, you couldn't be more wrong. There's a difference between borrowing a premise and straight up stealing several of the plot points.

  • Don Rosa actually got the basic idea, The Beagle Boys in Scrooge's dreams, from an anonymous fan. Sometime after finishing the comic he saw the film "The Cell" and immediately thought that the fan could've taken the idea from that film.

In case anyone wonders, I've got this info from Rosa's foreword on The Dream of a Lifetime in The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck Companion that was published in 2006.

  • it is possible that it is copied from inception get me a proof of when tis comic is published

  • lucid dreaming is nothing new its been around for ever...

  • $crooge McDuck is me favorite Duck/McDuck!

  • sorry, how do we get the strip?

  • Insane! Wow, yeah really similar, I guess if movie makers run out of ideas they can always turn to comics!
