Deborah Stevenson, Exec. Dir. of NHELD ( http://nheld.com/ ) speaks at the New Hampshire Liberty Forum about the importance of knowing the law and the Constitution, and that we need to contact our Senators in Washington, D.C., to let them know that we should NOT ratify the UN Treaty for the Convention of the Rights of the Child (CRC) NOR should we put in place a Parental Rights Amendment (PRA). First, it doesn't take 60 senators to stop ratification of a treaty. Since ratification requires the consent of 2/3 of the Senate, it only takes 34 to block it. (US Constitution, Article 2, Section 2, paragraph 2)

Second, blocking its ratification now will not make it go away. They cannot take a permanent vote to not ratify it. ONLY a Constitutional Amendment deauthorizing ratification of such a treaty provides a permanent solution.

thanks too the 1997 act law that quote bush signed in as a law!! The children have no voice of where they would like too be! it is a shame that bush was using this law too destroy familys! and take away the voice of the children! he is a very selfish womenizing man! who has ripped children from arms of parents who truly indeed innocent! this man has brought a dictatership of corruption too the american family and put a gag order on the childrens voice!

CRC "DON'T TREAD ON ME"! I would fight with deadly force against a bunch of foriegn socialsts destroying the parent child bond. We fought to hard for our freedom to put up with this Sh*t.
