Islamic Mughal Empire and the Other Royal Courts of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh

The Mughal Empire was one of the greatest empires and Royal Courts in history. They were great supports of the Arts, including great building, jewlery, poetry, paintings and much more.

This came to an end in 1857, when the British finally defeated the Mughal Emperor. Although the British had defeated the Mughal's, the Mughal ideas continued to inspire the Princely states all over India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

This video is based on a Exhibtion that took place at he V&A Museum, London.

Much of the collection now belongs the Royal Collection of Britain (Queen Elizabeth II).

they were muslims, india was majority muslim, the taj mahal has islamic designs, such as the minaraats, and the dome.

Islam has had countries where majority was Muslim, all the way from span, through estern europe, north/central africa, italy, middle east, kazakhastan/ turk lands, russia, india, china, those asian islands upto indonesia, most of the world

@megapad100 I dont think this is accurate, India/Pakistan/Bangladesh (together) would have a Muslim population of around 40%, it would be the single largest religious group.

But if you have other figures, please let me know.

Although, you are correct, It was run by Muslims, along with the other countries you have mentioned.

@MughalistanSipahi there are around 200 million muslims in india 220 million in bangladesh thats already more than 40% of the rest or at least the same, ive not included pakistan. and i was talking about back than when it was ruled by muslims.

@MughalistanSipahi invention and idea is not given to any one religion, it is from the human brain. humans from every nations are able to progress with idea.. only thing stopping is our environment.. like all civilisations, during the muslim golden age back whenmuslims listened to their prophet when he said "gaining knowledge is the duty of every muslim" muslims made the biggest library in bagdad.. knowledge only existed in the muslim world because people there wanted to progress and coexist.
