Here is " Travel Hopefully" from the ill-fated Andrew Lloyd Webber & Alan Ackbourn musical Jeeves. The show opened on the 22nd April 1975 and closed on the 24th May 1975 after only 38 performances. This track is taken from my copy of the original London cast LP.
Travel Hopefully is one of the songs that were kept for the reworking of Jeeves, By Jeeves in 1996 with just slight differences in the lyrics.
The melody was first used in the 1965/66 musical "The Likes of Use" with lyrics by Tim Rice under the title "Love is Here".
@mattwinds It's the original version and its the best :). The orchestration is so much bigger and fuller when compared the the 1996 version.

At last we all get to hear this in its original form, thanks again to Ben! Sounds very different to the 1996 version. The occasional record crackles remind us that we're listening to a recording that pre-dates the digital age and is likely the only way we'll get to hear this particular production's soundtrack. More!!! :)
