@pimpdog34 its not about the mods, its about the difference in price...of course if someone could afford a vette and still have money to mod it they would but most people dont so they buy an wrx or sti and with the money they save from not buying the vette they can put into the subaru and make it faster and still cheaper.....plus awd is the shit
-
lol some ignorant people out there. do not get me wrong here sti wrx are fast built yada yada even building it though doesnt mean the same mods cant be put into a stang or vette any American v8. would kill it if u added the same mods to each car. i dont mean handling thats a whole nother story
-
pointless.
-
is that backfire? if so, isnt backfire a bad sign? please correct me if im wrong.
-
@jakubgt1 I'm a Subaru owner and I don't agree with this at all...... All I know is I smoke Mustangs all day long with a cold air and downpipe on mine. Haven't had a new GT try to race me yet, but they V6's don't even stand a chance.
-
@KNuss126 Why would a car have balls
-
@wtfyourafuckindoosh fords come a long way ill admit but untill they adopt a true independent rear for all mustangs not just the cobra i wont be getting one. i hate the way the straight axle rides in my little pickup down the freeway at speed why would i like it in a mustang?
-
@jakubgt1 im not some subie fan boyi like everything i think the new mustang is very capable but what is theis "pro driver" happens to suck ass with the sti on the track. all about car and driver combo. on another track with a diff driver the sti could be faster. ive seen it happen before. the numbers arent everything. and ill bet on pure driving dynamic the fully independent suspension of the subaru will win hands down were it counts and you do 99% of your driving.
-
VIR lightening lap times driven by same professional driver in same conditions.
Ford Mustang GT's time: 3:08.6 (On par with M3)
Ford Mustang V6's time: 3:12.5 (faster than last year's 4.6 GT!)
Subaru WRX: 3:16.5
Subaru WRX STI: 3:13.8
EVERY subaru owner agrees the new Mustangs are faster and better in the corners. Everyone needs to get off Subarus dick and realize domestics can finally turn now.
-
@jakubgt1 no not really i know all about the 2011's. they would get their asses walked in a corner just as badly. the suspension in the sti has solid berrings and it higly tuned where as the mustang has an outdated live axel that isnt at the same level as the boss's. its a fast car but you can compare base model to a performance package. they have the same power but they arent in the same league
-
2011+ V6 Mustangs only. Any other V6 mustang or even the Mustang GT before the 2011s would get walked by the STi at the twisties. 2011+ are a whole new story...
-
@jakubgt1 horse shit no v6 stang is gonna outhandle a sti. and faster in a straight line is questionable after you add mods. plus go watch the isle of man run in the 2011 and see if your mustang could recover at 150 mph like that. oh no it can't... rwd is fun but for best control awd rules.
-
@jakubgt1 .......your kidding me. Can't tell if troll, or just stupid. >.<
-
@jakubgt1 seriously doubt that awd is better and the insurance will be higher on the mustang mustang might have more torqe but it will have more slipping on the rear wheels sti more efficiant due to the awd srry thats the facts dont like it go to ford and tell them to be like subaru
-
@jakubgt1 A ricer is a car that looks fast, but isn't. Like the kids that think the stickers give it 600 extra HP. The STi IS fast. Get it right.
-
@jakubgt1 lol haterrr
-
Wow, I thought I was the only black guy who was nuts about Sti's.
-
@zomgbbqwth correct!
-
@Beathede sti fanboy aha
i'd take a wrx over an sti just to build it up and murk idiots like you
-
no catalytic converter?
-
@Beathede stock yes but my wrx isn't a 2.0 with mods it's 2.5 with hang on why the bickering subaru owners supposed to be cool with each other?
