Auschwitz Message Found in Poland

A scrap of paper with an amazing history. This note was written by prisoners at the Nazis' Auschwitz death camp during World War Two and stuffed into a bottle. 65 years later -- it's just been discovered by builders. [Tomasz Bregula, Builder]: "The bottle was here, you can even see there is a mark from here to here. It was submerged in concrete, lying horizontally." The bottle was hidden in a warehouse next to the former concentration camp in southern Poland. Written on a scrap of paper probably torn from a cement bag are the names of eight Auschwitz prisoners -- seven Poles and one French man -- and their camp numbers and home towns. They were all aged between 18 and 20 in 1944. Up to one and a half million people - mostly Jews - are thought to have died at Auschwitz and neighboring death camp Birkenau. Hundreds of thousands of people now visit the museum there every year. The Auschwitz museum says the note is authentic. And a museum spokesman says one of prisoners on the list is still alive. [Jaroslaw Nencel, Auschwitz Museum Spokesman]: "Not long ago - thanks to this document and the fact the media mentioned its discovery -- we found out that a French Jew who was young at the time survived the war and currently lives in Marseilles." The building where the bottle was found is now a school. They want to put a replica bottle in a wall to teach students about the note. And the Auschwitz museum hopes to find out more about the fates of the other prisoners on the list.

390bullitt1968 would you expect to find graves for the victims of Auschwitz !? piles of bones and ash all neatly piled up !?.SS men,surviving former prisoners and locals from the period when the camp was up and running have all testified to the atrocities of the camp..Nazi documents prove the fact that this was a mass death camp.Read the evidence from the Institute For Forensic Research (Cracow) from 1994 ..but no matter how much proof is shown to you it may never shake your delusion.

@Bongofury361 Leuchter is a complete fraud! He was found guilty in the US of fraudulently practicing engineering & has said he's not an engineer and misled people about his expertise! Daly, Christopher B. (June 18, 1991). "Holocaust Revisionist Admits He Is Not Engineer". Washington Post. His basic mistakes in sampling & recording the process by which he analysed samples from the building walls demonstrate he has no idea about fundamental practice & procedure as regards sampling & measurement.
