Way to go!!! Music is all about having fun. Ignore the boofs who tell you anything other wise. I am a drum/percussionist instructor - this video is not a determining factor as to whether you have technique or not...anyone can learn technique at their discretion. You just keep enjoying what you are doing!!! I have video of me when I sucked at technique, and yet, those videos are with true blue recording artist. But, I had a heck of a time. And, I still do...

You should really get rid of everything and start with one drum and master it, You can keep rhythm but have no hand technique. Someone spent way too much money on way too many drums way too soon. Strip it down and start with hand technique basics on a single drum then only add something if there is a reason to.
